No one wants to return to the closet. To do otherwise, we need to weave strong armor that will resist the weapons of our enemy, whether they be political, legal, or community directed.
We need to be visible for the next generation of kids so that they know that there is a place for them in this world. For that small percentage of children who are destined to be queer, our visibility can be a shining beacon of hope that can make the difference between giving up and hanging on for another day.
June is usually referred to as “Pride Month.” However, this June is different: It’s Pride Month as always, but also “National Immigrant Heritage Month.”

Studying Witchcraft taught me that I am my own temple, my own deity, my guardian, my healer, my savior, that the elements live in me, and that I’m part of a planet that vibrates with every beat of my heart. Whether through Witchcraft or any other spiritual path, if each person learned the same thing, it would be easier to accept the differences that make the world such a fascinating place instead of seeing them as a danger, a social cancer.
