Lawsuit Challenges Trump’s Religious Liberty Commission Over Alleged Legal Violations and ‘Judeo-Christian’ Focus

A multifaith coalition represented by Americans United for Separation of Church and State and Democracy Forward has filed suit in federal court alleging that President Trump’s Religious Liberty Commission violates federal advisory law by lacking viewpoint balance and transparency, and by advancing a narrow “Judeo-Christian” framework.
