CHESTERFIELD, Va. – Information released earlier in this month by Unicorn Riot, an independent media group, identified several members of Identity Evropa, a white nationalist group, two of those members have ties to a Heathen group, Ealdrice Theodish Fellowship.
TWH reported in February on Virginia Capitol Police Officer, Sgt. Robert A. Stamm, being placed on administrative leave for undisclosed reasons after Seven Hills Antifa published an article linking him with the AFA.
The recently published information by an Anti-fascist group, Torch Network and The Daily Beast utilizing some of the 770,000 leaked messages of Identity Evropa from the chat server, Discord, allegedly identified Chesterfield, Va. School Resource Officer, Dan Morley as not only being a member of the same Heathen group, but also having a connection to Stamm.
Since the allegations were published, Ealdrice Theodish Fellowship has removed the majority of their pages leaving only one page their website stating, “Wassail friend. This work is done. Godspeed.”
According to posts on Twitter last week by Col. Jeffrey S. Katz, Chief of the Chesterfield County Va Police Department, Morley “… has been removed from his position [as SRO] & has been administratively suspended pending my recommendation for termination.”

Crossings of the Veil
David Palladini, (April 1, 1946 – March 13, 2019) artist and illustrator passed away earlier this month after a long illness. Many Pagans will recognize his work from the Aquarian Tarot Deck, and The New Palladini Tarot. He also provided illustrations for folklorist, Jane Yolen’s books, Stephen King’s “Eyes of the Dragon”, and many others. Palladini’s parents immigrated to the U.S. in 1948 from Roteglia, Italy, and settled in the Chicago suburb of Highland Park. Palladini received a scholarship to the prestigious Pratt Institute Art School in Brooklyn, New York–the same art school as Pamela Colman Smith, the illustrator of the Rider-Waite tarot deck. He is survived by two brothers and his life partner of the last 16 years, Dr. Margretta Klaussen.

- Selena Fox of Circle Sanctuary will be speaking at the College of William and Mary as part of Campus COLL 300 courses. She is among the speakers for the Spring 2019 term, with the theme: Ceremony with a multicultural focus. Her visit to campus also is part of William and Mary’s 100 Years of Women, celebrating the 100th anniversary of women being admitted to the University which was founded in 1693. In addition, to speaking at a variety of classes the week of March 25-29, she will be doing a campus-wide presentation which also is open to the public on Wednesday, March 27 from 5-6:30 pm at the Sadler Center, Commonwealth Auditorium, 200 Stadium Drive in Williamsburg, Va.
- South Dakota Governor, Kristi Noem signed into law a bill requiring public schools to prominently display “In God We Trust.” The law requires the sign to be prominently displayed and easily readable and no smaller than 12 inches tall and 12 inches wide. The South Dakota House of Representatives added a section stating that if displaying the phrase results in a lawsuit, the state attorney general will provide legal representation at no cost to the school district or school board and the state will assume financial responsibility for any legal expenses related to the lawsuit. So far, no appeals have been filed.
- A junior at at D.H. Conley High School in Greenville, North Carolina won first place for her research on the Salem Witch Trials in the senior exhibit category of the National History Day regional competition at East Carolina University. National History Day competition is similar to a science fair for history projects. Jessica Kestler, the competition’s co-coordinator, said, “Students do research on a project that fits into the annual theme we have each year and they can choose to present their historical research in five project categories.”

- ASSAM, India – In Polashguri of Gossaigaon, a subdivision of Assam, police arrested Robin Baskey, 41, and Shunil Baskey, 22, for the attempted witch-hunt of a 55-year-old woman, Bale Kisku. The police acting on a tip, rescued the victim and transported her to Gossaigaon RNB Hospital.
- PAKUR, Jharkhand, India – Rupa Paharia, 55, of the Pahariya tribe was killed over suspected witchcraft in Gadi Surma village. His wife filed a complaint with police, saying that a dozen men armed with sticks beat her husband until he was dead. Police are reported to be conducting raids to find the perpetrators.
- GUWAHATI, Assam, India – Birubala Rabha, social activist from Assam, was awarded the Social Work Excellence Award from the University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya (USTM) for her work centered on raising awareness about witch-hunts and eradicating them. Rabha was instrumental in the passing of the Prevention of and Protection from Witch Hunting Act, 2015 by the Assam Government.Upon accepting the award, Birubala Rabhasaid, “Witchcraft and witch-hunting is a very superstitious belief which exists even in today’s world. For decades, I have been doing awareness campaigns. I call upon everyone to join my mission to erase this social evil completely.”
- MOMBASA, Kenya – Haki Yetu, a non-governmental organization during its launch of the Uzee si Uchawi (Old Age is Not Magic) campaign, announced its intent to partner with local and national government to build rescue centers for elderly who are being accused of “witchcraft” in an attempt to reduce the number of elderly being murdered. Haki Yetu coordinator Julius Wanyama said, “We cannot go on discriminating the elderly people by calling someone a witch. In Kilifi [it] is like calling for his/her death for residents here are brainwashed that whoever is alleged to be [practising] witchcraft is destined to die.”
