MIAMI (TWH) – The Wild Hunt recently conducted a non-scientific survey of its readers. The survey asked how its readers felt about the recent solstice holiday season. Many people did not have positive experiences. Almost everyone reported that their family had multiple spiritual traditions. The survey drew 282 responses.

UNITED STATES – The Connecticut Post ran a story on Friday about Wiccans and Pagans and the full moon eclipse that occurred last night. While reporting on any celestial phenomenon is fairly routine in the news cycle, reporting on what Pagans and Wiccans are doing during one is not. Rev. Alicia L. Folberth, president of the Panthean Temple of Connecticut was interviewed for the article on what kinds of activities Pagans and Wiccans might schedule. The lunar eclipse is only one to occur in 2019. From an astrological viewpoint, eclipses can have a big impact and forewarned is forearmed.
MANAKAU, NEW ZEALAND – Members of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids are travelling to New Zealand this week to take part in the eighteenth annual Southern Hemisphere OBOD Assembly. 2018 marks the first time the Assembly has been held in New Zealand. Hosted by Grove of the Summer Stars, the Assembly will have many New Zealander and Australian OBOD members in attendance, along with OBOD Chief Philip Carr-Gomm, Scribe Stephanie Carr-Gomm and newly chosen Chief Eimear Burke. The Grove of the Summer Stars is based in Pukerua Bay, north of Wellington on New Zealand’s north island. The Assembly itself will run for six days in Manakau, a suburb of Auckland, but attendees will have the opportunity to visit the Grove during a “magical mystery tour” on the Saturday.
