TWH – Christian groups unsurprisingly began their annual objections to Halloween earlier last month and they have maintained the rhetoric at a fever pitch. In all fairness, not everyone or every Christian church has objections to Halloween; but there are consistent delusions that the holiday is inspired by Satan while also echoing historical calls for the elimination of Paganism.
The Christian Post, for example, began their yesterday coverage with “My God is bigger than your Halloween” adding that “Halloween — the day the devil lays claim to. I don’t know about you but I refuse to give any day to the devil. My Bible tells me that God Almighty created the heavens, the earth and all the days in it.”

The contributor added “But let’s not be bullied into huddling inside praying for the morning to come quick so we can be rid of the darkness for another year. That just means you’ve forgotten how truly big our God is.”
Nevertheless, this rhetoric reverberates with many individuals and two events from across the US highlight those consequences.
Yesterday on October 31, 2023, reports from a Publix Super Market in Miami, Florida, said that a group of individuals claiming to be servants of Jesus stood within the store’s Halloween display and then marched throughout the store shouting “There are customers celebrating Samhain tonight! They are Witches summoning the devil! Here and tonight! They are among us!”
The Wild Hunt spoke with several employees who witnessed the event. They requested anonymity but confirmed the episode. One employee said they didn’t understand who “Sam Hane” was referring to the mispronunciation of Samhain by the group of protestors.
The group continued through various parts of the store shouting “Find the Witches. Save our children from Witches.”
The group was interrupted, presumably by security, and escorted out of the store. Unfortunately, there was no video of the event at Publix, unlike the next event.
In Salem, Massachusetts, Warlocks Christian Day and Brian Cain hosted an annual Salem Witches Magic Circle on October 31, 2023. The event was a public ritual as “Witches from around the globe gather for the sacred and magical ritual of Halloween! This event is free and open to all who wish to attend with an open heart and a love for their dead.”
The Salem event began in the late afternoon. Day and Cain were joined by Witchdoctor Utu and Dragon Ritual Drummers. About 250 people participated in the open ritual which included the casting of a sacred circle.
About 30 minutes into the ritual, a group of Christian protesters carrying a large cross and what appears to be an image of the Shroud of Turin, enter the circle and interrupt the ritual.
Witches joined hands protecting the altar while a man carrying the giant cross pushes it into the center of the ritual space.
Police were present but more were called while the ritual participants drowned out the Christian protestors with chants and drumming.
In a subsequent video short, Salem police appear to block the Christian protestors.
The Christian group protested in 2022 but not to this level of intrusion.
Kaylyn Borel, District manager of Warlocks, Inc., Day and Cain’s company that also owns the local store Omen in Salem, Hex and Omen in New Orleans, and Festival of the Dead that hosted the event, said “We began our ritual like normal. We had attendees turn to each direction and the Christian group went around the circle to make sure their signage and cross were in view of each person. …Eventually during the ritual as Christian went around with Robert (the skull), one of the Christian men with the large cross broke into the circle and stood inches from our altar and speaker system putting everyone’s safety at risk had something fallen.”
Borel added “I signaled for police as soon as the man broke into the circle and asked them to remove him, as we had the police already positioned there because of the prior year’s events. The police told me they didn’t know what to do, and I told them ‘you remove him from the circle, this is like going into a church’. Once I saw there wasn’t going to be any intervention from police I went with the rest of our group to protect the altar and sacred items until we finalized the ritual.”
Cain noted that the police could have done more. He said the cross was dangerous because of its size and the video shows the man losing control of it.
Day and Cain said in a statement “Salem, along with communities throughout the world, must realize that we are in a post-Covid world, where someone’s idea of religious protest is to hang glide into music festivals and murder pregnant women, babies, and children. Regardless of whether fundamentalism comes from Muslim, Christian, or any other belief system, we must take the very threat of fundamentalism seriously. We are years away from Timothy McVeigh, Eric Rudolph, and Paul Hill, but that kind of violent, Christian extremism is ripe for a comeback in these tumultuous times and we must be ready for it.”
They also noted that he had spoken with Salem Mayor Dominick Pangallo and Police Chief Lucas J. Miller. Day reported Miller said, “’I know that this [meaning nature] is your temple.’ He was so appreciative that the head of law enforcement in Salem has taken the time to understand who Witches are. Chief Miller offered to meet with Christian further to prevent these incidents in the future, suggesting a permit would help. “We were not allowed permits in the past and so we were under the umbrella of the permit obtained by the Special Projects department of Salem.” Chief Miller made it clear that having our own permit would give the actual space more protection and so we look forward to that.”
Chief Miller also made it clear: “I know that this is your temple” referring to the natural beautify of the green space at the center of the Witch City”
Update November 2, 2023
A profile on Facebook of the name Art Montogomery (who goes by fbichrist777 on Instagram) described himself as a “Healing Evangelist” from Encinitas, California, has taken credit for the religious aggression. Montgomery is the founder of FBIChrist (Firm Believers in Christ), a ministry that has an “FBI Battle Plan” and was established “to win souls no matter what the cost” and is replete with military language.
On YouTube, Montogomery describes himself as an “ex LA fire captain and now fire starter. Instructor at fire academy, FBI Ministry and evangelist at Church Tsidkenu. This channel is to further the gospel of Jesus Christ through the Mark 16 gospel of casting out demons and healing the sick. ” He wrote on LinkedIn, “NOW I AM THE CO-FOUNDER OF THE FBICHRIST MINISTRY AND I HAVE BEEN A PASTOR FOR 16 YEARS AT THE RIVER CHURCH ALSO. THIS MINISTRY IS A SUPERNATURAL HEALING SALVATION MINISTRY THAT HAS BEEN ALL OVER THE WORLD SPREADING THE KINGDOM UNITED STATES, AFRICA, ITALY. VIETNAM. CAMBODIA, PHILLIPINES MEXICO ETC. I PREACH ON UGANDAN RADIO ONCE A WEEK TO A AUDIENCE OF 400,000. IT IS CALLED THE RADIO BOARD CAST FOR CHAMPIONS.”
The Facebook post contains a Facebook Live that describes the intentional process of the disruption, including the entry into sacred space by about 15 individuals. They were surrounded but police. In the video, Montogmery says that police were aggressive but there is no evidence to the statement.
The video also shows commentary by individuals participating in the Christian group and one person describes it as “crazier than last year” and another as a “showdown.” The man holding the image of the Shroud of Turn says, “Send them back to where they came from, the pit.”
On Facebook, the post read,
CHAMPIONS WE DID IT AGAIN BUT THIS TIME THEY PUNCH ME AND THE POLICE HAD TO RESCUE ME AND HAND CUPPED HAND THE CHAMPION. LAST YEAR THE PLOICE WERE AGAINST US. IF IT WERE NOT FOR THEM GUARDING US WE MIGHT HAVE BEEN IN BIG TROUBLE. BECAUSE THE HEAD WITCH WENT WILD CURING US AND THE CITY OF SALEM USING THE “F” WORD AND THREATENING TO BURN DOWN THE CITY ETRA .WHILE THEY SANG THE BLOOD OF THE ANCIENTS WE SANG THE BOOD OF JESUS. THE PLOICE SAID IT WAS A PUBLIC PARK ANYONE HAS A RIGHT TO BE THERE AND THAT MADE HIM MADD. IT WAS INVIGORATING AND MADE US FEEL ALIVE FOR REAL
Witchdoctor Utu said “Despite the intrusion and temporary chaos it caused, the circle and ritual held strong. Every single person involved in the Annual Salem Witches Magic Circle are seasoned professionals, full-time Witches, including the Dragon Ritual Drummer tribe, and it showed. No matter how shocking it was, or the palpable concern felt around the crowd, it was all still controlled in the face of adversity. That definitely helped keep order and kept folks calm.”
Cain and Day also noted how welcoming Salem has been to Witches and Pagans. “Salem is a city where Witches have resided mostly in peace for decades and the police have graciously been a part of that peace. The police department even has flying Witches on the side of their cars! Still, there was a collective breakdown here and I look forward to being part of the strategy to prevent it in the future and we are confident that our Mayor Pangallo and Police Chief Miller will be heartfelt parts of that discussion.”
“Whatever mistakes were made on their end or ours in not being properly prepared,” they said “the religious fanatics should consider themselves on notice. You won’t have this opportunity to persecute us in the Witch City again.”
