Granted she had done a lot for the Wiccan/Pagan community with some legal maters. Like getting Wicca/Witchcraft recognized as a valid religon. But it has gone down since. People by into her and she feeds of the naivete of newcomers. Folks think getting a $100 tarot reading or a $30 spell kit from her is like the Holy Grail of Witchery.

A “witch” who employs an “assistant” to do her research and who does the research by looking at Google and posting the topmost entry? And who then blames Google because the greatest number of hits was to a crackpot site that repeats the “tiny black holes” argument for shutting down the LHC?
Pardon me, but aren’t “witches” under the same obligation as non witches to be informed about and use common sense regarding the issues of the day? When will serious pagans stop pretending that this Laurie Cabot person is anything more than a poseur and a publicity seeker? I wish I could say I’m surprised that Penczak takes her seriously, but since I don’t take Penczak seriously either, I’m not.
