So how does this make “Third Wave” Christians so vastly different from your average run-of-the-mill pagan Jason?

The difference being, we don’t feel the need to eradicate other religions from the planet as part of our beleif in demons. Frankly these people scare the bejeezus out of me. (Not that I had much bejeezus to begin with but still!) Let us pray that these people never become the majority.

I thought that… but then I remembered two very important differences…
Pagan’s tend not to think they have the one true way and that Christians should be wiped out…
And, have you ever tried herding pagans?! I watched the documentary ‘Jesus Camp’ which is about the Third Wave Church childrens camps, and they work together in such huge, co-ordinated, faith-filled groups… do you think you could gather a pagan group that large, focussed and in agreement? Assuming you can find that many pagans who would join in fighting a spiritual war!

If they are a serious threat then perhaps we need some serious defences, but I’m not to hot on going to war, personally.

How many people think they are, in terms of spiritual warfare, a serious threat? The level of hate is scary enough, how many people think they have magical clout we should be worried about? How many people think it works like that? Can we, instead, work on filling our lives with love and compassion and beauty/balance/delight in both magical and mundane ways, and let the all-powerful force of love be our shield, our blanket, our guiding force. Let love shine out into the world and show the world an alternative to war and hate in the name of Faith.

I checked your FAQ, and the link that, in theory, debunks the “Palin as religious extremist” theory. However, Adele Morgan doesn’t qualify in which sense the church was too “extreme” for her (Palin). Nor does it explain her ongoing friendly visits and trips to WAoG years after she “quit” them (including a trip in June of 2008, where she spoke approvingly of being prayed over by an anti-witch “spiritual warrior”).

So how was it too extreme? The speaking in tongues? I could care less about that aspect. What I am concerned about, and what this post highlights, is whether Palin holds to “Third Wave” theology. Specifically referring to their views on spiritual warfare.
