Yikes! Heartbreaking.

A few years ago, I read of how a big chunk of Vladimir Nabokov's library was cut up and sold at auction to collectors. I can't recall all the details of the story, but I think his son needed money and had to let the books go. Among them were drafts and publisher's proofs, some had drawings of butterflies that Nabokov had sketched into the margins. It seemed such a crime that so many important works ended up being dispersed into the hands of greedy collectors.

Is there any wealthy Pagan who might step up to the plate and secure this collection? Most orgs are pretty cash-strapped. I wish I could come up with an idea as to what could be done.
