She's now a Catholic Traditionalist who thinks JP2 was left-wing pinko and wishes women didn't have the right to vote. Rowling was exactly the sort of thing that populated her adolescence - I daresay if she hadn't had such a deep interest in ritual, in candles and robes and archaic languages, she wouldn't have become a Catholic.
