What a slap in the face by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs/US Govt to deny the use of ANY emblem on the headstone of a soldier who gave their life fighting for their county. If a govt doesn't acknowledge the religious beliefs of their soldiers then why should a soldier acknowledge the political beliefs of his country and trot off to fight and die for them? This is obviously the right decision by the govt but one that should have never needed to be raised.

Something good has finally come out of something so horrible! In a time where there really isn't much to celebrate we have something. The Goddess has smiled on us! RIP to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to make this possible and now, maybe, their families can have a measure of peace.

Blessed Be
