The Weblog Awards, “the world’s largest blog competition” has its nominees up for 2006. This year two Pagan bloggers have made the cut! This includes “Property of a Lady” by Deborah Lipp (in the “Best of the Rest of the Blogs (8751+)” category) and “The Spicy Cauldron” by Andy (in the “Best UK Blog” category). So get over there and vote!

Though I am very happy to see two of our own get such attention, I still think the various weblog award-givers (The Weblog Awards, The Bloggies, etc) need to add a category for “religion and spirituality”. Some great writing and journalism is happening in the religious blogosphere, and it could use more attention.
