This was one of the first books I purchased when I 'escaped' my restrictive home 25 years ago. I bought the first edition and still have it. I think that I have the second edition, too. It will be interesting to see what the third edition has added- like information on Numenism, which has been quietly percolating away on the far edges of popular Paganism for 60 years. This is the faith I am interested in right now, and they have so far not made the leap into the Pagan mainstream- mostly because this is a face-to-face Trad, not book or net-based.

Its funny- I used to listen to NPR and think of Margot as "Drawing Down the Moon". Now, I read Drawing Down the Moon, and think of NPR.

How times have changed...

I found her book marvellously inspiring 20 odd years ago. I must go out and read it again. The last statement especially was deeply moving. Thanks for publishing this, great interview.
