Well, I live in Tucson, not far from his church actually, and I'll tell you that not dressing in shorts and short sleeved shirts in the summer here is akin to wearing a hair shirt. Virtually no one wears long clothes unless they work outside in the sun and don't want to get melanoma. No thanks, Rev, I'll just stay pagan and comfortable. I invite the Rev to go back to the long woolen robes of centuries past...
