I think this is a time when Pagans should be more &quot;out&quot; than ever before -- not only to guard our own boundaries, but to show the rest of America that there is an alternative, a third way between the extremes of absolute secularism and superstitious Christian fundamentalism -- or fundamentalism of any stripe, for that matter.  That there are alternatives -- the gray area between the dualisms.  That you can be spiritual without being a nut, and you can be rational without abandoning an inner life.  We are unique in that way, I think, or rare anyway, and we should be proud of that, and say so.</description>
