I do wonder how much this truth seeker gave to given pagan thoughts a honest chance. Again, I doubt it. Or he/she would have seen that same light.

This is the light that Jesus has shown me.

Those words describe Jesus. He was full of wisdom and truth, and He was infinite in compassion—He didn’t just “care about” people but He actively cared for them, and offered them life. He is the Son of God, yet completely humble, and the essence of strength under control. He gave His life so that we could go free. . . and He gives us His peace. No one cares more about liberating humans from every type of mistreatment and injustice than does Jesus.

I see that you are an avid reader and thinker. So in the name of being open-minded, I urge you to give the Bible an honest chance (maybe start with a modern translation of the gospel of John, and Paul’s letter to the Philippians).

10 years ago I found Christianity intellectually ridiculous and socially offensive. . . but God reached down and opened my disbelieving eyes to see Him. And He has completely changed my life.

I used to be the most skeptical person I knew. I believed Christianity was nonsense at best, and discriminatory at worst. But I have found that there is indeed a God who loves His creatures infinitely more than we can comprehend. . . and He is the Source of all Truth. From reading a little of your blog, I can see that you are a lover of truth—I pray that you wouldn’t rest until you find it.
