		<description>It might be considered equally plausible that these Goddesses were given beards to provide them with a masculine quality, based on the concept that to be so powerful there had to be some aspect of man in them, instead of just the feminine.  Note the fact that most Gods of the same time didn&#039;t share this androgyny.  They were apparently fine without the feminine aspect.</description>
