Amy Goodman from Democracy Now! interviews author and poet Alice Walker. Walker, an outspoken and public Pagan for years talks about civil rights, activism, and seeing the humanity in everyone.

During one portion of the interview Walker talks about the importance of rebellion. Amy Goodman asks her if she really considers herself an outlaw, renegade, rebel, and Pagan. Walker responds: “Yes! Why wouldn’t I be?”
