Book Talk
Just ordered a copy of “Celebrating the Pagan Soul: Our Own Stories of Inspiration and Community”. The book features inspirational writings by such prominent Pagan authors as Margot Adler, Judy Harrow, M. Macha Nightmare, Thorn Coyle and several others.

I also noticed a somewhat cheesy entry in the same vein. “Cakes And Ale For The Pagan Soul”, a Pagan version of those ever-popular last-minute gift books the “Chicken Soup for the [demographic] Soul” series. I wonder if books like that are a sign we have finally become mainstream, or that we are merely trying to ape it. Beyond that there are a ton of books I’m looking forward to buying once I get the money. “The Nature of Magic : An Anthropology of Consciousness” (profiled in Chas Clifton’s blog), “Researching Paganisms”, “Witching Culture: Folklore and Neo-Paganism in America”, and “New Age and Neopagan Religions in America”.
So many books, so little time (and money).
