Llewellyn the biggest occult/Pagan publisher in the US is moving from it’s current headquarters in St. Paul MN, to the suburbs of Woodbury. But as Amy Gage from the Star Tribune reports, some people aren’t too happy about the idea.

Sandra and Carl Weschcke, heads of the Llewellyn empire.

“They use the word ‘witch’ on their Web site. They use the word ’spell’. They sell a ‘Teen Witch Kit’. These people want your kids. They want you, too. The days of complacency in the church of Jesus Christ are gone. In the Bible, Satan is more than just a metaphor to represent evil, He uses witchcraft to draw people in. As a minister, the onus is on me to help people understand.”Rev. Mark LaFollette, pastor of New Life Church of Woodbury

Despite the claims that the evil occult conspiracy is moving to town and wants to pollute the youth of Woodbury, the mayor and the town seem happy enough with the jobs and revenue the publisher will be bringing.

“I know some of what they do is controversial, but they’re a legal business, and they have constitutional protection. Whatever they produce you can buy at major bookstores already in Woodbury.”Mayor Hargis

Indeed, but boycotting the local bookstore would mean they would have to go out of their way to buy copies of the latest “Christian Chick-Lit” releases.
